3 weeks into vegging, any advice?

Hey guys, I've been working on my first project for a few weeks now, and have been doing everything based on what I read in other users threads.

I think it's about time to get some advice on my setup specifically!

The basics of the setup are a 400W MH running 18/6, SensiGrow vegging nutrients, and they are planted in rockwool with hydroton as the medium. I water them every 2 to 3 days with a medium concentration of nutrients with a ph of right about 5.8.

I feel that I am getting close to flowering time, so I'd appreciate some input on things that stand out, things that I appear to be doing correctly or incorrectly, or advice for my upcoming stages. I'll be flowering with a 400W HPS, same setup. I've only got a couple pictures of the setup, but hopefully they provide enough insight for a couple of you smart people to give me some pointers!

:leaf: Thanks in advance! :leaf:

I'm seeing a little heat stress on your plants

You probably should move your lights a bit higher.. especially when moving into HPS..
Make sure you provide the phosphorus it needs for flowering

Other than that I think you're good to go

guess i didnt look at the pic close enough, i do see what appears to be very minor heat damage to them, but its not a big deal at all, ya just gotta raise the light a bit like he said

Well it's definitely good to hear that I'm doing things semi-correctly! And yeah, those pics are about 3 days old, and since then I figured I'd move the light distance from 14" to 18" because of the heat damage, and also because it looks to me like they're growing very densely together. Thanks for the feedback guys! I'll definitely hang around these forums much more often now, knowing how bad ass you all are at actually helping a n00b grower! Cheers! bongsmilie
