I need Help.... take a look at the pics and tell me what you think!!!

--Ebb and flow system using rockwool and clay pellets
--the H20 has been on for 15 minutes every 3 hours...
--the Nutes are tiger bloom and the PPM is 420
--the ph is between 5-6 way closer to 6.. --The lights are 24 hours 7 days a week.
--i have a support on 2 of them... its just a piece of rockwool... they stretched and started to lean, so i had to fix it..

My only problem is the leaves.. in the first pic the back right plant the leaves are curled under and the tip is a little dry and starting to turn brown.
And a few of the other leaves are just droppy looking.. i just dont think its right!
--If you can help at all that would be great!!

heres the pics.. thank you!!

Well, the plants dont look too horrible but yeah something is wrong. Watering I dont think is an issue because it's a hydroponic setup and overwatering is nearly impossible. They should be gettin a sufficient amount of water. I think i found your solution though, the tiger bloom is for flowering plants only. You are probably giving them way too much nutes for their veg stage, you only need to start adding flowering nutes when they are flowering. Cut back on the nutes until they flower, or at least until they start gettin bigger. Don't use tiger bloom for vegetative growth, use something else if u want to. Then when you start giving them tiger bloom, use 1/4 or 1/2(if the plant is gettin bigger) regular amount for the first 3 or 4 weeks. They might get stressed if you try giving them all those nutes for the first time in a while.

we have two different kinds of nutes.. one for flowering and one for veg... i think... but the light setup is a 400 w hps w/ 400 w ballast... the lights were about 2 feet above the plants and i just moved the light up to about 4 feet... and they are already looking better... so maybe the light was to close and it was cooking the plants... ill keep an update for you

Here's what i think,

I think the person who thinks you can not over water in a hydro system need to learn a bit more about hydro systems. I agree with his advice in regards to nutrients though. dont need much. use as little as you can cet away with. 1/2 is about right.
Getting on, Your plants absorb nutrients from a mixture of water and air. You plants are not getting air. The roots do require oxygen.

You posted you water every three hours? I have a similar system and I water every other day. Once. just to get the hydroton and the bottom BOTTOM of the rockwool wet. Not the whole cube. Looks to me like you are suffocating your plants.

Giving them too much love. Not enough time on there own.

Try wetting some hydroton and wait to see how long it takes to dry in a confined area. Takes a while man. 24 hrs and it is still damp.

My advice would be to adjust the level in your tub so the water just touches the bottom of the rockwool cube. Set it to water once a day for ten minutes or less. I give it three days and they will be fine.

check out my grows in my sig, you will see I have done this several ways.

I am a cabinet grower Here's a shot from last night.

I have a 150W HPS only 6 inches away from my 2week old plants... i also have a box fan blowing on them 24/7.... so far they are doing good.....

If you have a fan blowing on them plants then i bet you can drop the light back down to 2 feet... i think 4 feet might stretch ur plants a bit bud
