2700k/warm white are red cfls. I grow with blue and red 30watters, at the moment one of each but i have another two of each on order, the more the merrier, especially with 30w bulbs. Red is great for flowering stage :)

The 2700K lights are what gets called the red CFLs. They're actually kinda yellow to the human eye. They're good for flowering, and mixing in for veg (use no more than 1 2700K to 2 6500K bulbs). My moms love their CFLs.

Lol this is where my noobness shines through i'm afraid! I've read up quite a bit on cfl growing but haven't put much into practise, but i found a lot of people use mostly red spec for their flowering stage but liked having the odd blue in there, seemingly just so keep a nice strong light in there. Especially with the smaller wattage, they are handy to space out and get light underneath the main canopy.
So - for me personally - i would go 100% blue for veg (your 150w is a very decent strength for that) and for flower...maybe keep the 150w and have around 4+ reds strategically placed at the nodes where they matter, depending on how many plants you have.
Sorry i can't be be more specific for you, hope this helps though :) let me know how you get on!

I,m usure about using the 150, when i compare it to a 250 mh/hps for 100w the difrence is a no brainer "i think" ? But i am looking to save watts the reason i upped to a 250 was the disapointment at the cfl, butt not at it,s ability it was it,s output on light meter that put me of it. But if you can tell me that the 150 will keep a 2ft mother then i,ll gladly try it. Await reply lol TCD

yea 2700k is for flowering ,i use 6500k for veg ,thts all i grow with is clf.one of the bad things about cfl is finding spliters and fixtures but there is a bright side to tht too u can postion yr lights in differnt postions to get a full covrage on yr plants ,well with hps or a mh it is only good for the top covrage.the best would be to use both. imo
