I am looking to purchase a 315 Watt CFL light set up for my veg area which has 3 lights one 30K Spiral, one 41K Spiral and one 50K Tube style bulb. I am using a bubbleponics system and it will be in my closet. They say it will put out at a minimum of 17,000 lumens. Is this a good lighting set up. Also i want to actually have 2 bubbleponic systems, a 5 gallon bucket for 2 mothers and one of those 18 gallon rubermaid containers to hold 5 clones. Would that light be enough or would i need more cfl's to line up on the sides of the closet? I will have mylar tape lined thru the closet for good light reflection. My closet is not huge but its big enough to fit in the 2 systems. What do you guys think....

I think you would want the flexibility to move light around to direct it right where you need it. The better way to get that would be with numerous 42w cfls, perhaps 2 in one clamp reflector with a Y adapter. Four of those would give you the wattage you have there, and for about $125 total. Plus, easier to switch out from 6500k to 2700k light when you want.

How do you suggest the warm:soft light ratio be?
