2 Plants ready for the next grow both blues,not far of 2 ft tall topped in total 6 times,so should get a couple more full plant top's before they go into flowering room,someone asked me other day if you can veg under t5 lighting i told them i do but took this photo for you to see,all my vegging is done under t5 it's a 4 tube one.And a 4 ft flourescent cool day light blue spec,but i am gonna add two more 1 ft tubes on the sides,these will only be put on when the plants reach around a foot.Its a blues strain that is a clone only blues a cross of about 2/3 different seed, blueberry strains.Dj shorts blueberry underground seeds smellie berry and blues by the same breeder,each plant had traits i liked about them so why not i thought it worked out a treat,this winters breeding project is to cross this strain with some pollen,that i saved of the plants i now have in flower g-d-p-p-b-c a mouth full i know grand daddy platinum purp berry cookies .There both on 1.3 ec ,canna a/b that is all they have had, apart from rhizatonic for 7 days,for the 1st week.
The second set of photo's are of the g-d-p-p-b-c gotta say this plant is one of the best plants that i have ever grown,its just starting to purple up from the bottom buds up now im not sure if the pk 13/14 has kicked this into starting to purple up or if its just the time it coulours,it has totally took over the flowering room,to say that this strain is a seed and the blues was a clone,of a mother.i now have a mother of it now and gotta say i'm well happy with it,it has the most amazing smell fresh baked cookies,with a fruity back smell its just great genetics,so well done to johnsons genetics.Get some of the beans you will not be disapointed,the bottom buds started to have flouresent pink coulour but have now gone a light purple,they seem to be getting this coulour further up the plant now so once i have a good shot of the coulour i will post .The plant on the left is blues the beast on the right is the purple strain.
3 plants 1 more than i normally do i all ways do 2,but the purps was a gamble,and i wanted to make sure that i had something nice for x mas.worked out its gonna be a nice purple christmas never did like white christmas any how.
The plants are done in a hydroponic, auto pot set up
3 x 600 hps,3rd light 600 hps,with out hood swinger that i move around the room,but i only use this for last two week of the flowering phase.other lights are cool vented hoods.
12" out let through filter then via the lights then vented out into void
8" inlet via long section of 8 " duct that runs length of the floor with holes cut in the side's
2 x fish tank pumps sending air to the roots via a air ring in the bottom of the trays

Temps-lights on 26/27 lights off 18/20
May be hard to believe but the t5 room runs hotter than the flowering room,27/28 lights on 18/20 lights off,nothing other than a bathroom 4" out let fan with two vents cut in the side of the mdf built veg room with same sized fan bringing cool air from a void in the roof space.
