3FT Tall

Wondering if i will have any problems trying to grow in a 2x2x3 box, only really worried about the height. I know its small but im only trying to grow small plants, 2 12-12fs in particular. Including the pots and the lights the plants will be able to grow to 24" tall to be far away from the light not to burn, could be 28-30" touching the bulbs. I realize i wont be growing trees and wont be yielding anything huge but would i be right saying i should be able to get about an oz a plant using 2 42w cfls?

Considering using 2 70w hps also but the 42w's are here and ready to use.

If you LST or SCROG you might be able to do it but it won't be easy, that's a small space.

Set your pots on the floor and measure up from the tops of them to where your lights will be. Decide how close you think you can get the plants to the lights and then determine how much usable space you actually have between the lights and potters for the plant to grow. You'd have to flower very early and top em like crazy to keep them low.

I don't think it would be too bad with cfl. Just light the plant from the sides. Then the plant can top out if it wants to. I believe you will need more than 2 though. Hps is great but very hot. How is your ventilation?

Planning on LST the shit outta these girls, maybe do some topping or fiming to but will have to see.

Flower very early? lol thats why im doing 12-12fs and also i have measured from the pot to the light ... 24" like i said in my first post.

And michelangelo Ive decided not to go with the hps's becsause of that reason, im getting up tp 80-82F using CFL so it'll be far to hot for the 70w's.
