First journal, hope I’m doing this right. I picked up a 10 pack from TSC for $200.

Charlevoix = sophies breath x Oreoz

Just opened the pack and I have exactly 10 reg seeds. Paper towel method, used tap water I let bubble over night with a PH of 6.8

Well bad news. I don’t normally spend $200 on a pack but when I do of course this happens. All the packs are close to 4 years old and everyone’s having problems with seeds popping - like zero out of a pack and I’m right there with them. I really wish that they would of mentioned this on the websites of the Seedbank’s that had the packs. Kinda annoying that the breeder makes an insta post after plenty of old packs that won’t pop have been sold.

Before realizing this I planted seeds in soil after soaking in paper towel for a day and noticed no seeds popped up yet. I dug up some seeds and could only find 7 and all didn’t even have tap roots yet. Pretty frustrating at 20$ a seed. I cleaned them off with hydrogen peroxide and let soak for 20 minutes. Then mixed 1 tbs to 16oz water, soaked a paper towel and put them back in the towel and a bag... hopefully I get something to pop. I just ordered gibberellic acid too if this still fails.

I popped the second pack I had and only got 2 plants out of 20 seeds. Feeling a little ripped off.

I’m not sure if the plants are male or female yet but I will be breeding them somehow to get a better selection and look at the genetics I have 400$ in.

Will post pics of the plants I have soon.

1 boy and 1 girl. The girl actually smells really strong in veg. So that’s a good sign. Judging by the smell I’m saying it is Oreo leaning.

They were in the corner of the tent in 1 gallons neglected until they showed sex. So they look a little rough, I just up potted them. Pollination coming up.

Here they are 2 weeks or so from pollination time. Male is on the right female in on the left.

Both plants are untopped and in their natural state. Not bad looking at all really. Female structure naturally wants to have a more even canopy. Female is also smelling very nice and sweet, male has a little more spice to him.

If anyone wants some of the seeds for free let me know. I’m sure I’ll have plenty,
