Okay, I have been a lurker on here for a few years and finally decided to sign up
This will be my third grow. My first grow was very successful, about 2 years ago. It was a christmas tree style grow. I knew about scrog and LST, I was just too scared to try. I don't know if this is how everyone is, but with my first grow, I thought these plants were frail little things that required the most care. Although they do require a lot of care, not as much as I thought. My first grow, I vegged 15 plants for about 7 weeks under a 1000w HPS.
Bubblegummer
Iced Grapefriut
ICE
CH9 Humboldt (yummy
)
I started in a room in my basement and then purchased a 6 x 6 x 6 tent and then began to over fill the tent having to leave it open and have plants on the outside of the tent. I flowered 15 girls with two 1000w HPS and a 400w MH. I was happy about the yield.
Second grow was just an outdoor 5 gal bucket grow in the shade (security issue). Poop yield, but good budz.
Now, I have moved to the state where it is legal
This grow is just going to be three plants, SCROG, and only 600 total watts for flowering. Right now, I have three lights, a 400w HPS (MH Conversion bulb), and two 100w HPS high bay fixtures. I am growing "The Church" (two of them) and "OG Kush #18" in a 4' x 4' x 6' tent. Only seedlings right now. I am trying to make this a budget grow, I don't want to go over $600 so far I have a lot of my stuff.
So far this is what i got on my list.
Can you think of anything else?
The pump will make it so I don't have to use a watering can to water. Just flip a switch and water my plants. I choose the 6 outlet water distributer because I will have two mist nozzels watering the soil for each plant. I used a watering can with 15 plants, and OMG, it sucked. No saucers either, I would pick up each plant and move it 6' to a drain on the basement floor run water to make sure the runoff wasn't getting all over the floor, and water with a watering can. I remember watering 15 girls would take me 45 min to an hour. I would sit and wait to let the water run off down into the drain until it was done.
