Why is fluorescents better? i thought the 400w MH has more lumens than the fluorescents.

You do not need a lot of lumens for germing, clones, and mothers.

you can get t5s closer and it gets plenty of lumens. and its a lot easier to successfully clone because of this.

if youre looking to veg/keep mothers in statis/and root clones under 1 light, t5s win easily.

i use floros for clones germ and mothers, cheap and not as much heat

be careful how close you put t5,s over clones they are alot hotter then normal flos and alot more lumens.

T5's for sure. Save your money for a killer HPS

Id use the T5s and then get a nice inexspensive $119 600 watt digital switcahable ballast for nice budddssssssss
