4 week old youngster suffering, help please.....

Hi there,
I use MMJ for spinal issues and have a very limited experience growing my own. Out here in the desert we suffer from tight collective rules and as such my local collective has mainly super dry old varieties of similar strains. I had a clone that I tripped into flower becuase of light changes... they had it at 24-0 and I tried natural ... ended up a herm due to stress I beleive... but the little girl did produce about 10 grams of great smoke. Now my problem.... In my mixed weed buy (limited budget) I found a seed. I germinated it and planted it. She (I hope) is a 4 week old little one who sits on my back porch during the day and then I put her I a foil lined box with a Home Depot grow light at night. Until last night I would say she was getting about 18+ hours of light a day... She has spots on her... any hope for her?

Looks real healthy other than a few spots so I wouldn't fret too much.

Those spots look like water spots. Have you been spraying the plant with anything?

No I have not, but I will watch out for that.... No nutrients, no water splashes...I thought it was heat stress....

might be the beginning of a mite problem. might be the beginning of calcium deficiency. not heat.
i'd get myself a bottle of captain jack's dead bug brew, and a bottle of cal-mag. you're going to need both eventually, no matter which it is now.
give her a light feed, with a little cal-mag. spray her with something for mites just to be safe. otherwise, looks ok

I agree It looks like beginning of a pest attack especially since plant is out on porch half the day that would be my first guess.

Great advice except that those are not spots from mite damage nor signs of a calcium deficiency.

But go ahead and throw money at non-existent problems. The unnecessary messing around will ensure that you eventually create real problems.

To start treating for something like mites when you haven't even examined under the affected leaves with a magnifying glass and Identified a pest problem or what specific pest it might be is not the way to do things.

The oldest leaf on the bottom of any plant that has a few spots does not a crisis make.

i assumed the cut leaves were from it being a clone. was wondering where the bottom leaves went, myself

old med has a point, it would probably be a good idea to inspect the underside of your leaves with the strongest magnifier you have handy, see if you see signs of anything .

on an older plants i would just kind of keep an eye on that and ignore it otherwise. thats kind of a young plant to be getting necrotic spots though, something caused that

Op said it was from seed, so I was confused , now more that ever.
I thought it might have gotten pissed on by a dog or something but idk.
I agree it looks like a clone, and a lot of clones have mites, so idk. But I wish him luck.

Hey avgrower, can you comment on the leaves.
Sorry to about your back, a friend told me he had a high cbd strain that worked great for his back pain.

Sure ... At the end of the day the leaves were starting to curl... Container was warm from the sun so I thought heat issues.... Then at night I put it in the garage under a light.

Oh the cuts on the leave were from me.... The leaves became dry on the ends so I cut them back.... That seemed to trigger new growth in the nodes areas... I think she is going to be a very bushy powerhouse
