400 watt c99 and more

First I'd like to say I welcome all comments and actually am hoping for lots of feedback and input

Ok let me explain my setup
a 400 watt hps with a homemade cooltube but no ducting hooked up
A 8 inch duct fan blowing on light/tops of plants
My "tent" is a converted bathtub haha actually pretty perfect size
16 3 gallon grow bags
Miracle gro organic mixed 1:1 with perlite except bottom 1/3 of the grow bags are 2:1 mixture with a sprinkle of osmocote fert. I also added a little garden lime to each Pot and top dressed with worm castings
I water with straight h20 a mixture of ro water and tap water
I'll add a tbs/gal of epsom salt once in veg and once in flowering
And add molasses to the water for flowering and switch to a little bonemeal dressing instead of the wormcastings

My plants were started in party cups for 3 weeks under minimal cfl lighting looking back I should have done a better job during this stage so I stunted them all a little bit
So they have been under the 400 for about 4 weeks now for 17/7
Some of my plants are only about 8 inches but some are over a foot averaging just under a foot so they are behind but all look pretty darn healthy
I did top a handful of them to get two main colas and also have been bending the stems to try to thicken them up and even out the canopy yesterday I did a little more pinching of the tops of the taller plants
I plan on flipping the lights on April fools day so hopefully they will get a little bigger I'm just a little disappointed with the stem size as to me that equals yield
All I do is research and I think I got the hang of this growing stuff but I really am just a beginner needing advice haha
The strains I'm running in there are

2 la confidential clones
1 cotton candy from delicious seeds
1 a train
1 Dutch dragon
1 sweet deep graPefruit (dinafem)
10 c99 from female seeds
My last few grows turned out great except for yield
I'm just trying to learn still but I taught myself everything I know about growing always felt I needed a og mentor anyways help me out if you can.... Pictures tonight

In my other area I have a 600 mh/hps and am just starting a new grow there
Some have been vegging for 2 weeks some one week and others just popped
I tried a half batch of subcools ss and it wasn't really enough for the bottom 1/3 of my 20 seven gallon grow bags
My base soil is pretty much peat perlite greensand and reused soil
I got a lot of different strains going or will so I think I'll throw a screen above them and try out scrog

Some of the strains I'm running 2 or 3 of and 6 of the chocolopes 8 of the grapegods the rest are single seeds or freebies
Anyways didn't wanna start. NEw journal or know if I should think I'll just do them altogether I have another 400 grow coming up too
This is mostly for me to keep notes unless anyone wants to comment I'm sure I'll get some responses if I'd actually get around to postin pics

Probably my fav thIng is variety but I am gonna narrow it down to maybe 5-10 types that I really like just wanna find some keepers
I know for sure Kushberry is number one on my list if anyone knows any must have strains in the garden let me know

Good luck sir. I grew out the C99 last month and she was a different smoke. If you are going for medicine to put you to sleep let her go for a little bit longer. If not get her true potential and cut her earlier than later. I sacrificed quality for quantity by letting her go too long.

Yeah I was Needing something for dAytime especially morning that won't put me to sleep
I've never even smoked c99 but I hear good thIngs other than hearing it's more edginess and less energetic?

mine come from joey weed stock which are said to come from bro's grimm stock.. the person i got mine from had 3 distinct pheno's all separated in seed form..
i went with the pineapple pheno as that is the one everyone is always talking about..

from what i read female seeds had real bros grimm genetics too but u never know i guess
i do know i got the female seeds one bc it was cheap haha

Just checked on my plants and they look horrible
Lower leaves yellowed and got brown spots and new growth tips are yellowing
This happened over two days and one night so pretty sudden
I've never had this problem before time to start diagnosingH

Overwatered my soil got some lockout
Unplugged light on accident sat in dark two days while I was outta town
AND the roots grew right through the grow bag so pretty much all of them have at least some roots that ripped right through the bag
I guess a bunch of (real white) roots is a good problem
to have
I just bottom watered enough to soak the ones sticking out and the plants loved it
I'll transplant today into seven gallons And everything is fine now haha
Flipped lights wanted to do it on the first but they needed to recover

Did some tying down on the a train, grapefruit,cotton candy and one of the especially leggy c99s
They all look great after the transplant and it's extra lush in there
Got my daughters a rabbit for Easter I'm thinking top dressing or teas haha
Did some experimental lollipopping too and the little rabbit loves weed!

Everything Poppin pistols except cotton candy worried it may be male Bc of growth pattern

i wont have much of any one kind but i plan on cloning my favorite plants and then sticking with a limited few
i pretty much know which ones will be keepers lots of these were just freebies
some are 2 weeks some are one month old but i think i am gonna let them veg for about another month or until they are big enough to get some decent clones off the ones i want
some of my favorite ones will be taken out to veg longer=more clones
