400 watt cool tube ventilation

hi i'm seting up a 400 watt hps/mh cool tube in a 4x2x5 grow tent wondering if i can attach a six inch fan right to the light to pull hot air from the tube outside the tent so it would go cooltube ->six inch fan->ducting

also wondering how i would go about this can't really find how to hook up the fan and if it would work just blowing the hot air back into the room (not in the tent)

you should go outside>fan > cool tube > venting > outside if the room is small its just going to heat it up so you might want to invest in some more ducting and exaust the hot air somewhere like your attic or cellar/below your house if you can. try and avoid venting it out the window if your not a medical grower as they can detect the heat sig coming out the window and its a dead giveaway.

I don't have an answer but I too would like to know how to hook up the fan and the exhaust as I'm planning on getting a tent and a 400 Watt hps in the near future when I'm finished with my current grow. Thank you.

the room isn't that small and have a window open just dont want to run ducting all over the place would rather have most of the equipment in the tent except for the ballast

do you think a 230 cfm fan would be enought for what your talking about? also going to have a inline duct fan on the top vent to circulate air
