400 watt question...

Ok.. i got a 400 watt HPS.

Can i leave it ON in a bathroom with the ballast for 12 hours AND SHUT THE DOOR?

I would have a fan inside blowing the air around.

The ceiling fan makes too much noise so i won't be turning it on.

What do u think? will it get too hot?

If you don't have any fresh air coming in, and old / hot air going out, its going to get hot. The fan inside will just circulate the hot air. Proper air quality is crucial, as i'm finding out.

More than likely....No. Sooner or later the hot air has to be removed from the room. Leaving the door ajar could help. But totally enclosed with no venting at all probably will will get the temps too high in the grow.....IMO.

depending on the size of the bathroom i would atleast put a small fan in there. it'll help ya a lot.

i had that problem. im running a 600 watter. no fans in my grow drobe for 4 days (only germin) the temps were off the scale. i got myself 2 4" bathroom fans 1 in 1 out now its perfect at 25. they help a lot.
