4ft Indica pre-flower

Hi Everyone,

I have 2 indicas (1 blueberry, 1 northern lights) that I started out indoors in april and moved outside around the 14th of June coming from a 17/7 light cycle. They are planted in soil in ~15gal plastic planters and are ~4ft tall (give or take 1-2"). No signs of flowering yet so I don't think I moved them out too early.

Anyways, one of my questions is regarding the infamous flower stretch. I've read in some places that the plants can grow 2-3x their height and other places state that the stretch isn't as bad outdoors. Can anyone confirm that I should still expect ~2x stretch outdoors?

The other question is regarding advertised seedbank yields. While I've mostly read that those numbers are under ideal conditions, etc., and others are outright lies; How many people come close to reaching those numbers? Are there any indica examples I could look at, just to see what I should work to achieve?

I've done some searching on these topics but haven't quite found the answer i'm looking for. This is my first grow and i'm anxious to see how it turns out in the end.

I think the rule of thumb is to expect any plant to get at least 2x larger in flower. Don't count on them not spurting, take your nessesary space/privacy precautions asap.

Also, don't "work to achieve" anything just enjoy your grow. I mess up way too much still to set yield goals lol. Happy growing bro

Thanks for the reply. I'm definitely going to keep the stretch in consideration and take the necessary precautions, I just wanted to confirm / set my expectations so that I'm prepared when it does happen.
Also by "work to achieve" I simply mean that I'm trying to get better at it, and produce healthy plants.

Indica dominant genetics and the fact you have vegetated a small tree tells me any stretch u have is going to be minimal. You're outside so controlling the temp isn't in the equation. No way will blueberry double its size in flowering. I'd bet on that. My blueberry 6 weeks old on day 12 of flowering
