Well i was reluctant to show pics and information as the state i live in is looking in to adding an internet watch dog tactic where they will use my information and website usage against me in a court of law, feds can do this already, but my state government wants to do it as well... but im legal, if they wanna make me a poster child go for it...
quick background on hawaii growing...
YOU CANNOT BUY SEEDS OR CLONES from a store here... but you can GROW YOUR MEDICINE... this tells us the black-market is thriving in my state and the state officials turn the cheek... i wish they would cash in on the success of cali and Colorado... TAX IT... people will pay. anyway stupid rule and you have to see a street pharm to get seeds or get a few bag seeds... i got mines from a friend who grows on another island, found it in my backpack after a trip...
i'll be updating weekly as my job and fiance requires much of my time... shes interested in learning so she might post here for me from time to time... so i'll respond when im free.

2x4x7 grow tent
400hps cool tube w/carbon filter
48qt cooler with a drain installed
3 air pumps (1 sunleaves line drive, and 2 pet store units as back ups)
2" round stones (showed best promise in the testing)
and your normal testing equip
BOTANICARE: grow, bloom, ripe, clearx, sweet, and huvega/calplex cause of the ro water
kinda lucky as the temps here are usually about 80 degrees night and day, and rh is about 50-60... i have never used co2, my grow room sucks in fresh air all day through negative pressure in the closet its being grown in...
i use botanicare nute line not AN OR GH like most but im happy with the results... also cal/mag additives cause i do use RO water... i no longer use ph down, instead i top off with water and add nutes to lower the ec, if i need to up the ph i add ro water (mines comes out at 6.6)...
anyhow... this the baby getting started just 20 minutes ago... the mother plant will be in her new home once the soil dries out so i can pull her out of it.i might wanna try a side by side grow of the 2 plants, but with a 10 week flower time... i'll try to stick to the dwc.
im taking everything ive learned from here, high times, and grasscity and applied it to my set up.. this will be my first successful grow with dwc.. 6oz is on the agenda as i can make edibles, and have an oz for my personal use... dont cry... the rest is destroyed. or given to a vermiculture farm, which i use to make tea.
I attached a few for shits and giggles as i love information and i like to experiment... an upside down plant grown on my balcony (bad way to grow), and a grow i did through emails and texts to an uncle in cali, never touched a single part of that grow. soil i got down, hydro been a difficult start.
