5 weeks into flower when should they start to swell?

im 5 weeks into flowering vanilla kush plants. the pistils are all fully grown but they've looked the same for the past week. do they start to swell soon? im worried i might get a small yield. im flowering under 650 watts of HPS

Any day now. Thats a decent amount of light too, don't worry. But also know that what you have now, might be around what your dried plant might look like. Also depends on if its an 8 or 12 week plant. If its an early maturing plant, then that size might be around what you would expect, if its a 12 week, prepare to goo yourself.

You are right about there. You will start to notice less stigma action and more calyx swelling any day now.

Bud "swelling" does not even begin really until week 6 at earliest and usually starting the 7th week.

The real swell starts about the last two weeks. Calm down. This is the hardest part for me too. After nursing them along for so many weeks, the last few are torture. What nutes are you giving them?
