5gal dwc perpetual grow

I think I finally nailed down my master plan. I’ve attached a crude cave painting diagram for all the visual aid growers like myself

All circles are 5 gallon dwc buckets. Either homemade or bought off amazon for convenience.

My homemade aero cloner (outside of tent) will feed my 3x3 veg tent. 4 plants will be topped and trained for 4 weeks each, fresh clones being taken as necessary. Tent has a 600w dimmable MH light

After 4 weeks of veg, one plant will be moved into the flower room, and the empty veg bucket will be replaced with a fresh clone. I already own a 1000w HID but I’m considering not using it and buying two more 600w for the flower room to keep both halves even. Each week the veg plant that has hit its 4th week will be moved into the flower tent, where it will blossom for a full 8 weeks before being harvested.

Keeping up with this schedule should allow me to harvest one plant per week indefinitely. Never having more than 12 mature plants at a time.

Looking for comments, criticism, yield estimates (haven’t settled on a strain yet). Bought some Money Maker and Critical Kush seeds, but I also have some buddies I can take clones from. Any links to similar dwc bucket grow journals would be appreciated as well.

Looks like it should work. How much space is your flower area? Using multiple smaller light fixtures will allow you to get more even light distribution. I haven't run any Critical Kush but I have grown MM and she was definitely something I would grow again.

I don’t have the flower tent yet. I’m open to suggestions. I’m confident the 3x3 will be enough for the relatively short veg period but I know they’ll blow up in flower. This will be my first time doing any training so there should be an adjustment period.
