60 Day Wonder Auto vs flowering a non-auto from seed?

is it worth it to buy the 60 Day Wonder, I mean if you flower a fast growing non-auto from seed cant you get about the same yield? I see other non-auto's with 8 week flowering. So my question is if you flower a non-auto (AKA photoperiod) from seed can you expect about the same yield. Or does the extra 12 hours of light you can give a auto help it grow faster?

Ive grown 60 day wonder and it does not finish in 60 days more like 75 days, theres lots of good autos that will finish in the same time, also i dident like the smoke from the 60 day at all.
i have an auto going now and a seedling of a photo-period plant, its under 18/6 lighting and when the auto is ready the photo plant will be ready to go into flower at 12/12 that way i get a harvest and a plant in flower at the same time

The actual "William's Wonder" is great, if you can get your hands on some. (Its around, but highly scarce).

Meanwhile, every grow report I've seen on "60-day Wonder" says it takes 70-75 days to finish completely from germination to harvest (and you can probably add a few days for germination too). I've also seen conflicting reports on its potency with some saying it has different phenotypes. Based on these things I've concluded that DNA genetics hasn't fully stabilized it.

Anyway, 70 days is still pretty fast *from a seed* but if you're just interested in a fast harvest I think you can finish just as quick or even a little quicker if you choose a fast indica strain.

If you're really interested in maximum turnover, you can do even faster yet if you can start with a rooted clone.

so best bet is to just use a photoperiod strain. I was thinking about buying autos, but when I researched more about them, I found the most unappealing thing to me were not being able to clone them or keep a mother plant alive. If I had money or time for seeds I think autos would be a good choice. But I don't want to have to keep buying expensive seeds every grow, or have to buy Non-feminized autos to make seeds. Autos are awesome though wish I had money to only grow them. You get a fast turnaround, young seedlings and flowering all under the same light, no separate grow rooms, no need for a timer (if under 24 hour light), no need to light proof a room, less risk of light shock. They are tempting but i'm broke as shit, and cant pay for seeds every time I start a new grow.

I think autos make a great bumper crop when growing outdoors since you can have fresh bud in July while photoperiod plant as still in veg. Inside, I don't really see the point for most people. Seems like they would use a lot more power keeping them running on a 20/4 or even an 18/6 as opposed to 12/12 for regular plants.
