600 watt mh hurt my seedling ?

Need some help I'm doing 2 autos... Colorado cookies, west coat OG ... the cookies and OG have been out for 10 days but there moving a little slow it's only 78 degrees and 55 humidity... would the 600 watt hurt it or slow it down in anyway ???? Plz help

They start slowly, its normal. She's making roots then around the third week, ba-BAM!
You can put them in the mh but you need to back the light way off. Only after a few weeks start to lower it but don't go closer than 24".

A 600w is too strong for such a little seedling, even a 16w cfl is sufficient for seedlings and clones, if you have to use the 600w I would put it at least 1m above the plant and only after the 3rd or 4th node appear start to gradually drop it lower

it looks good to me . dont murder the electric bill these baby plants cant take advantage to all the light . use a smaller bulb ever a cfl for now to its at least 3 inches tall then the mh on
