Hello everyone, just here trying to start my new journal on my new babies. Im really looking forward to my Biddy Early since I havent found much info on any forums on this strain or journals from beginning to end. This is going along with my first indoor grow, i also have a chocolope(pics at the bottom) but i have another journal for that one. Any input, criticism, or helpful ideas GREATLY appreciated.

all three plants are growing pretty healthy so far, just started giving them molasses today. The dwarf is flowering pretty nice but its not that frosty. We'll see how it ends up.

Biddy early is at 22 inches tall- the newest leaves are growing "skinny" but they seem to grow out after abit, thats how they all grew since it was abouta foot tall.

Dwarf is at 11.5 inches
Super skunk is at 22.5 inches

heres some pictures in that order

anyone??

also, how low must temperatures be for my biddy to reach its purple/lavender colors?
Is it true that putting ice on the pot during "lights off" will help the plant turn purple (well at least the biddy since its in the genetics) due to the ice melting and plant taking cold water?

Molasses is more for feeding the microheard than for flavor.

Nice looking plants;) I'm no help on getting the purple..... but I have heard the ice or watering with cold water can help....but I don't think there's a definite way to turn them purple IMO.

The attached picture is of my Dwarf, any idea on how long ive got left to flower? i water with nutes every monday and im wondering if i have time to give it nutes one last time or go ahead and start using plain water (maybe some molasses)

also, what are other nutes besides GH-Flora Bloom to help get fatter buds on my other plants?

Let me preface with purple means absolutely nothing in the long run, however ilove it. So pretty the way my buds frost up and start getting purple coloring it's great. So what I do is I allow temps to get down to mid low 60s. This happens because my ambient temp needs to be 60-70 for my closet to stay at 75 at 600 watts. So when I turn the lights out in the tent in the morning (run my lights at night) the ambient temp slowly makes its way int the tents and the temps drop. Some strains though have been said to not respond well to huge shifts in temperatures but I couldn't say it was 100% true but it's just things I've seen around about the subject.

Oh and for cutting time add 2 weeks to the suggested time on the seed sellers websites. It's a general rule not always correct but good at least 85% of the time. It's hard not to cut the plants down early cause they will look almost done and wait another two weeks instead of harvesting then the buds will be fatter and more dense yield will go up.

Thanks for addressing both of my issues! really appreciated. I know purple doesnt matter with quality of smoke an what not, but pretty colors always look more attractive to others ;)

on the cutting i do have a microscope to see the trychomes so i think i should be good, i just dont know how long it takes to transition from all clear to amber and cloudy which is what i was asking. Im going to feed it once more tomorrow then straight water from there.

thanks much i really appreciate when people spend the time to respond, +rep!

Tonight my cat roamed into my room and stepped on my timer (i know stupid me for leaving it on the ground) and effed up the ON times, so i my babies got exactly 5 hours more of light than normal (was supposed to be off at 12 am, stayed on til 5 am). This is the ONLY time this has happened.

Ive been reading up on similar occasions and it seems half of people say to let them get 12 hours of darkness, and half say turn lights back on on regular schedule. I have 7 hours until its time for them to turn on again.

any input?

by the way, in case anyone is curious, my timer is one of those that have the little tabs you push up or down depending on when you want your light period, thats how it messed up.

leave them off and restart you light times ... let em get a full 10 hours of dark b4 you wake them up again.

haha this is so confusing, just like i mentioned its 50/50 on what everyone says to do.

i think im just going with my normal timing, its what ive been been reading the most

My dog fucks up my timer at least once a week.. I just set back to what it was at :) no problems
yeah, i think i just turned them on at their normal schedule. Like someone mentioned somewhere else "the faster you get the times back to normal, the better!"
