Im building my new flowering room just moved.
Will a 1000w hps and 600w hps be enough light for a
6x10 room? Im not worried about airy buds in some spots
as i will be rotating the lights every few days to get maximum
coverage to all plants
I have for this room 6 10gallon buckets,6 3gallon buckets, 2 2gallon buckets
are these buckets to big? largest ive ever grown in were 3 gallons and they grew 4 foot monsters with 6weeks veg

Pots are never big enough.
All about funds.
Sorry im high, could you state your questions like..

It'll make it easy for me :D

I like your lighting set-up even though you have to do the rotation. I once got some great results in an 11 x 6.5 foot room with only 1200 watts for the first five weeks and then 2400 for the last four. It was with the HOG which was a decent producer. So I guess you would do alright because you're are going to be running 100% HPS lighting. My setup was strictly 2x600w MH conversion for the first 5 weeks and then I evenly distributed 4x600w mixed spectrum thereafter in aero table that only held 18 plants that were veged for only 3 weeks. I wound up getting 2.75 elbows but probably would have got more had I done all HPS. The quality wouldn't have been as good with that particular strain in those particular circumstances if I did all HPS ( that was my experience) but some strains are so good that it doesn't make a difference in quality of finished product if you did HPS or MH/HPS.
Furthermore, I'm impressed that you were able to grow monster trees in 3 gallon buckets. I play it safe with my tree set-up and I use either the 20 or 44 gallon brute pails a la DWC. Although, and I could be talking out of my ass on this because I only have 4 years experience (although I did spend about 150k in us$) if you want to optimize the lighting and use the lights that you have, I would compromise by putting the 1000 in the middle and the 600 to the left and buy an additional 600 installed to the right. Although, if your ventilation can't overcome the increased heat, the additional light will be in the area of diminishing returns to the point where the extra light wouldn't be worth it. .02

if your room is 6x10 i'm guessing you aren't using the enitre space for plants. if you have 1600w of lighting then grow plants for that amount. the 1000w will cover a 5x5 area and the 600w a 4x4 area. how many plants will depend on how big the plants are and if you train them in any way.
