Hashberry/Lockdown Cross (HBL). This is my "house" weed. Been growing this strain for about 6 years now.

Camera brand?

That's great man the hbl is coated an I love buds that have that texture, the soft fluffy look opposed to how some strains look more wood like or whatever. About to start a train wreak seed due to having the same style of bid texture.

thinn. Standard shots are with a Canon Rebel XS digital. I use a custom white balance to compensate for the plants under a HPS. The macro trich images are shot with a USB microscope/stand combo that looks like this.



There's one for about $60 but the images are small, 640*480. The one I got was about $100 but shoots 1600*1200 images. The stand is metal and very stable. Makes it easier to focus while I watch the image on my screen. Actually that gives me a great idea for another shoot.

Because the depth of field is so short, there are several layers of trichs that you don't actually see. I usually try to find the best one out of my sample. Next time, I'll take a series of photos at different levels of focus.
