80 g per month....

Ok... So its time to step this thing up a gear.... So im half way (ish) threw my 3rd grow (360w cfl) and after this one i want to upgrade my whole set up nut not sure what i should go for...

Basically i have a large spare bedroom in a detached house and i live by my self so there are no real issues to growing weed... I work in construction so im going to build the grow spaces my self out of mdf / ply (1m x1m x 2m ) and was thinking i am going to build 2 of them for flowering and have a 250w hps in each... the veging area is in another small room...

I would like to grow 80 g per month, but not sure with all the various ways which would be the best way to do this... one plant, 2 plants 4,8,16 small plants see of green or should i build a larger room and buy a larger light and grow one really big plant???

Any one any thoughts... 80 g per month isnt a huge target and should be easy enough meet i think... I know trial and error is prob my best bet just wondering if anyone here grows that sort of amount monthly and has any thoughts or advice... Thanks > Chris

you could have a perpetual 12/12 grow like plant one every other week then by the time there ready you would harvest one every 2 weeks and depending on the grow you can get up to 2 oz in 12/12

or you can veg and have a mother and take clones every other week or whenever for a purpetual grow

Imo 250 watts in a square meter is underlit. 600 is a better match imo. Then you should be able to get as much as 500g per grow cycle (in a square meter), once you have it all dialed in. ~and 200-300g per on early learning-curve grows.

Fewer larger plants is easier starting out imo. Sea of green and related techniques are excellent in the hands of experienced commercial growers who don't mind high plant count and are after cycle speed.

With strong lights and good yields, you'll eventually find yourself only running the one square meter for flowering. Unless, of course, having extra bud is a GOOD thing (Frankenstein laugh)

Yeah id say go with cannabineers idea of having a 600 watter. Maybe at first just get going like 8 plants, seperated by 2 weeks each in your room. If your goin hydro and got a wicked strain, plenty of mylar to help light up the sides and bottom 40g a plant is easily do-able!
