Just got my brand new 4x4 tent set up. Temps measured from the top of the plants. Do these sound stats sound ok?
83.3 degrees day / 78 night - 400W MH 30" from my two week olds

lol wow people in there temp's.......U can grow till it hits like 110 degrees then the THC starts to deminish...83 is fine almost perfect...And how the fuck do u measure in the shade when its grown in a tent...Dude just grow and have fun and dont worry about temps unless its over 100....Just gonna have to water/feed more often but thats all...If u can AFFORD c02 then i would recommend getting it as u sit in the right temps for it to do its magic...Cuz c02 needs to be above 83 degrees to run its full potential...Well GL bro and these r JMO...

you measure in the shade by placing your thermometer just above the light line!! the light leaves a perfect straight line all the way around the tent so place it a couple inches above that line! if you dont know thats then youve got know idea!!!
also i wouldnt let my room go to 110 so thats a daft thing to say!

did i say my room was 110 or recommend it NO...Just saying u dont need to be at 78 while light on for herbs to grow...They will grow just fine as long as u always have air flow...His temps r fine and peeps r saying u need to do this, this and this...He dont hes fine...

I am measuring with a sensor at the top of the plants, in the light. With the heat wave, My tent has been fluctuating between 78-85 over a ~40 minute period. I assume as long as you keep the fluctuations below 10 degrees it should be fine.
If that 10 degrees is bad, should I go and get a cooled hood? My other room went between 85/74 and never really had any issues there, just worried about the more inclosed environment.

It definitely not ideal but i had plants growing fine in the summer heat between 90 and 95 degrees
