84 with lights off, 70-74 at lights on

Love it. Cultivating medical cannabis amidst blistering temps. I know the solution is an air conditioner.

I'm posting, hopefully, with intent that we are all going through similar conditions with high heat.

Just making a place for us to gather and support our girls as they fight through higher temps when they are supposed to be sleeping :)

I am in Northern California, this week is a huge heat wave, which will turn back to 70-mid 70s by Sunday and hopefully there on.

Outside temps are 80+, and my girl is sitting in some hot 84 and very dry heat in the tent. Doing all that I can, windows open, doors open to room, fan on to draw cooler air into the room and push warm air out, tent unzipped partially to let hot air flow out as well.

She's getting 10-15 degrees of increase when the lights are off during the day.

Lights on at 10pm, when it's nearly 60 degrees outside. I moved it from 8pm to 10pm a few weeks back, and I can get the temp in the tent anywhere from 70-78 degrees all on how much light I choose to run. I prefer low to mid low 70s temp, the results are clear.

I run a 4" outtake, with a vortex table fan as intake at bottom of tent, that puts the cold 60 degree outside air in, and keeps temps 70-78 degrees.

160w of led
310w of 2700k
125w of 6500k

I have another 355w of 2700k, and 65w of 6500k, all except 105w of the 2700k, which are in the other veg/temp flower space. Goal is to put them all in the same tent with all the lights and have temps no higher than 75.

I recalibrated my tent early Tuesday am, and have temps at 78 which is great considering I added 435w of cfl's, and the current high heat outside during the day. I am confident that as the outside temps resettle to 70-mid 70s during the day, I will be able to run all the lights I have in the one tent, and keep it, preferably, low to mid 70s, ie 73-75 at most.

Skunk #1 has a week or two and she's ready for dry/cure, and 4 Silver Afghani Ladies are going in next. I would like to get them all in the tent together before the skunk finishes, so the silvers will be acclamated to the new environment already. The silver ladies had a real Kush veg, and I decreased the amount of light hours by 15 minute incriments each day/every other day for the past three weeks, so a gradual movement from 18/6ish to 12/12 - 11/13 ish. Great results, showng pre flower hairs a few day before hitting the 12/12 cycle. I think they were smoothly transisted from veg to flower. When I got them they were root bounded ocean Forrest blend soil'd and in small 4 in starer pots. While I did leave them in the smaller pots for a few weeks, I shook off that ffarm and replanted just the plants and roots into a highly amended coco soil blend. When I up potted the roots had immensely improved and were fibrous and vast. The girls were also magnesium deprived, heavily, purple main stems all the way, I blasted them with CaMg and the appropriate nutrients, and I am happy to say that 80% of the purpled main stalks are now healthy, Kushy and Lushy and green again. All their nodes had been cut at the base of the stalk, possibly she was taking cuttings? But now those nodes are exploding. Happy plants. Lots of mykos. Huge roots. They are under 374w, 309 2700k and 65w 6500k (these are the other lights I want to move into the tent)

Anyways, here's to anothe successful harvest, my second, and to lots of light intensity and cool ass low temps with solid humidity.
Thanks for reading.

Happy Growing!
