9 + weeks of flowering... clear trichomes

Hi, this is my 3rd plant, being grown in the same growing conditions im available to.

the first 2 , grew fine in this closet. Now im using a different bag seed , with very different results. im using CFL lights, last 2 plants had way less light each than this one. I am giving it about 260 actual watts of light.

I would like some input on my issue.

My closet doesnt have adequate ventilation, the plants will sit in temps anywhere from 80-90* all day long. I watered it with FF nutes and solubles untill week 7. Then I flushed and gave it fresh water ever since, thinking i will harvest at end of week 8.

My issue, there are plenty of buds, and trichomes but, my trichomes are mostly clear even now at 9.5 weeks. I have a few stray trichs here and where that turn amber or cloudy. The pistils at the lower bud sights are all brown

but, the top cola still has white pistils... and the plant just started to grow a little taller... like it is re vegging.

I have been checking my pistils daily for the past week... they seem to be same each day.

I water once ever 2-3 days.

I lost a lot of fan leaves due to burns, probably from heat stress, and I assumed it was also because the plant was at the end of its cycle and getting rid of its own leaves.

and its in a 3 gallon pot with FFOF

if you have more questions, ill answer them

thank you RIU

Ill get pics when I get home.. .

its a seed I found in a bag of really dank. from my readings, people said it would be hermie, others said it wouldnt be one... etc

I actually didnt care and went for it.. I just wanted a plant... iv been neglecting this plant somewhat as well.. I sometimes leave the closet door closed for 2-3 days at a time, during which the temps would reach up to 90 degrees. when the door is open, the temp still 80-82 degrees.

still watered it on time, ph balanced with nutes, fan pointed at it 24/7 , plenty of light all the bulbs are about 2 inches away from the bulb.

anyways, I would like to add, that the plant is getting taller very slowly still... the top is starting to grow some new leaves slowly...much slower compared to veg state. that plus, the fact that the cola pistils are still mostly white while the rest of the plant has brown pistils has me concerned that something funky is going on.

oh, and its a pretty short plant, started making buds around 15" and is now at 18" and seems to getting taller at 9+ weeks into flower.

should I go back to feeding it nutes.. or not bother cause it will be harvest time soon?

im no expert but it looks like it is done. the white hairs will turn brown after you chop it and dry it. looks like it might be starting to reveg.

iuno man bagseeds a difficult one to grow just for that reason.. u never know how many weeks it will take to flower. ive seen bagseed at 13 weeks .. and still new growth and clear trichs.. .. wierd but depending what u like.. chop at ur own preference..

Makes me laugh...I'm experiencing exactly the same thing. My seed breeder says the flowering time is 8 weeks, or +/- 48 days (whatever that means???) My ladies are 64 days at 12 & 12...I time them as soon as I change the light schedule, then take about 10 to 14 days off to trick them. Mine should be done, but I just looked with my handy USB microscope thing, and all the trichomes were clear as fukin' glass...not a cloudy one in the bunch on both plants. I Final Flushed them both with 5 gallons each of flush and pH'd water...no more nutrients until they're finished..apparently, I don't require any nutes at this point, after all, I did put worm castings & bat guano high in phos into the ProMix Mycorrhizae HP, so...they should be fine, done in a couple weeks I'm hoping...Good Luck bud.

I used to go by the colour of the hairs, the pistils, but once I started looking at the trichomes, and the colour and transparency of them. Yes you need a USB microscope or pocket mic, but they're inexpen$ive nowadays. Judging harvest time solely by the colour of pistils is not the most accurate way from my experience any way...for what it's worth.
