90 Watt LED Grow

So two days ago I changed my plants over from 150 watts of cfl to 90 watts of led lighting, using three 30watt lights. I have another led bulb that's 24 watts that I'll turn on when switching to flower and I plan on getting an all red led as well. The plants were thin looking before switching to LED, but now it seems as if they have taken off bushing out. Temps have also been amazing, they stay right around 76-78 with the leds which is way cooler than cfls. They are all topped. Three weeks since sprout. Thanks for any input guys

Update on my led grow. Yesterday I finished up the lst and added my 24w led and a 55w 2700k cfl (not the 20w that's pictured) to kick things off as I'm flipping the switch tonight at midnight. So I'll be running 114w of leds and 55w of cfl. I'll probably add more cfls later on in flowering if need be. Can't wait to see which of these are female. Hopefully the two biggest ones are.

You should just get some household globes from Walmart a-19 100w equivalents. They put out 1600 lumens and are less than 10$ a piece with the globe and reflector removed they put out some serious light, way more than any blurple light that you currently run. If you do stay with those make sure your running some cal mag in your feeding regime or you will start seeing the deficencys. The plants look good.

I appreciate the feedback. Just thought these lights would be sufficient since the plants took off when I placed them under. These globe's are leds correct? Thanks

I didn't mean to put off your grow the lights you got will work just fine I just figured if you wanted to add some white or expand on a budget and keep it as simple as possible that this would be a good option. Make sure your using cal mag with those lights you're currently running or problems will start happening soon.

Where exactly did you get those lights from were they advertised as say 8x3 watt led bulbs, it's just what they look like. It kind of looks to be the case it's something that led manufactures do as false advertising in all reality your probable only running 30 to 40w of LEDs

Is it something with leds that causes lack of cal/mag? And yea they're some cheap ass Amazon advertised as 30w leds but probably pulling like 12 a piece. I have a big led that is actually 24watts though. I figured the lights were weak that's why I added the 55w cfl. I want to do the whole cob setup or other diy led setup but don't know where to start. How many Wal-Mart globes do you think I should add to get me through flowering? How many if I took away all the weak led? Thanks

Depends on the size of your grow I did 9 in a 2x2 area and got decent results. I don't own a scale due to prior charges. As far as the cal mag I don't know I just run super soil and have always added cal mag it's just something I was always told to add.
On the diy cob side I've been studying for years on the subject and am still lost as fuck maybe I just need to finally order all the parts and see if something finally makes sense.
What I've been really wanting to do is a vertical grow using strip lights from Heraco lighting and a corn cob led ran down the center from ngtled in a 3x3 grow locker. Just gluing the strip lights to the walls every 6 or so inches around the perimeter by 24 inches tall. With 2 150w corn cob lights ran down the center I think it would kill for harvest results I would only need one harvest a year. But that's just a dream for now.

Yeah, my grow area is about 2x2' as well but fuck spending $90 on some more lights lol. That setup sounds legit for sure, but expensive as shit too lol. But don't give up on that one! You've put ideas in my head with that info though. Thanks again :bigjoint:
