Alden — Authorities investigating a domestic assault complaint in Michigan's northwestern Lower Peninsula ended up finding a marijuana growing operation with hundreds of plants.
The Traverse City Record-Eagle reports Antrim County sheriff's deputies went to a home in Alden on Monday and discovered 30 marijuana plants outside.
The Traverse Narcotics Team responded, and authorities seized 962 marijuana plants, 2 pounds of processed marijuana, $25,000 in equipment and about $1,700 cash. Undersheriff Dean Pratt says it was a "very elaborate" illegal growing operation.
Authorities say the Antrim County prosecutor's office is expected to review the case for possible charges. There's one suspect, but Pratt says others may be involved.

this is the 4th time I've heard of someone way too big for their britches getting busted at go time. id like to hear the details of this one, the others all had some random ass reason the cops got involved. very unlikely stories and whatnot...

Lol slum you posted the second part as i was posting. thats how the LEO's got to see my grow was a domestic call. me and the ole lady got all hot one night when we used to drink a lot and one of the neighbors called. was well within my numbers so they just asked if they could snap a few pics and left. I'm still curious as to what they wanted pics for it was a pretty dead lame garden at the time. shit sucks but staying under your numbers will save your ass

In one report they say he was arrested but, they don't give his name or bail. In a different report they say

They wanted the pics so that when they are undercover here on rollitup and WE call their ass out on it, they will then use that as proof that they grow and whatnot......... You know the drill.......
