90w LED to veg 3 plants?

I was just using a 250w MH to veg 3 plants but decided to take that out and replace it with the 90w LED. I replaced the bulb on my 250W to HPS and added it to my budding area next to another 400w HPS covering 6 huge budding plants. But my question being will the 90w sufficiently veg these 3 plants that are 5 weeks old? should i switch back and add the LED to the budding area instead? any advice would be helpful

Just look at watt's per square foot 3 plants each 24" wide 2 4 square ft ea. 12 square foot total 40 watts min per sq. ft. doesn't add up...they will reach and slow down substantially watts are watts! Add to flower area as suplimental I believe this will be the best use in your situation. pease and let us see the grow as you progress! Wishing you the best...jack

Most UFOs are actually about 75% of watts claimed. They barely cover one plant. Learning that lesson I now use mine for veg/clones where it works well

But, I supplement with various CFLs ~ 100 watts. My main light now is a 46" T5 Bad Boy
