A Bit Of Yellowing. I Think I Need More Nutes, Second Opinion

24 hours light regiment with 6 cfl's
TEmp - 78 to 80 constantly
humidity = moderate at 40 to 60 percent

Nutes, liquid stuff 8-4-4- that I added in 2 waterings ago on 12/21
No nutes on past watering on 12/31
NOTE: Plant was getting dry, but not dry enough to cause any noticeable damage.

Plant is in miracle grow soil for only 2.5 months. Don't want to over fertilize.

Phed water in at 7.0
ph for water run off = 6.8

Looks like nute burn to me. Try a bit of molasses.

The lime green color of the plant is often indicative of low pH. If the brown, dead leaf areas are only on the top of the plant then they'd most likely be from light burn and/or heat stress. Nutrient burn will start at the lowest and oldest leaves so check there before adding ferts.

I added a whole gallon of 7.6 ph water with a mild fertilizer in it. After adding the fertilizer the PH became 7.2. Run off was 6.6 which seems like the soil ph was super low. Hopefully this fresh watering with 7.2 water will help out the plant and I should see some improvement in a day or so. I must get a soil ph test......

Just a thought, I gave the plant nutrients then the plant didn't have any nutrients fro like 10 days. Perhaps the plant got big quickly, then become deficient when the liquid nutrients ran out...

miracle grow potting mix has a lower soil pH. i've had issues with it burning my plants in the past.

Yeah, 7.2 fertilizer solution with 6.6 runoff suggests a soil pH of somewhere near 6.0. They look like they've been growing in acidic soil for awhile and should become a much deeper green color after fixing the pH. Changing the pH of liquids you give the plants doesn't usually have a lasting effect on the soil. While it'll briefly get better, the soil should quickly go back to acidic. Lime is the most common lasting solution to soil acidity.

that soil level in pot is low, re-pot it then in a week, should look better.
