Its my first grow and was wondering if some more experienced botanists to give me some ideas/opinions. Now no one can tell me what to do with my set up but that isn't gonna stop me from finding out as much as i can and making my judgment from there. ANY INPUT would be greatly appreciated. Take into consideration i am looking to get some dank but if i can sacrifice a little dank for some extra yield i wouldn't mind.
SET UP:
Room size- 6' X 6' X 6'
Light- 600W MH for veg HPS for flower
Growing Medium- organic soil-less mix
Pot size- 5'' X 5'' X 5''
Plants- 11 of a northern lights strain (so i was told)
Chemicals- Botanicare TRI-FLEX at 1/2 dosage
CAN air filter on a 350 CFM exhaust fan
1. Should I top the plants? If yes, At what height? Should I FIM top or stick with the traditional method for 2 co las? I have read that it depends on strain whether you should top but is that the case with all grow mediums, indoor/outdoor, organic/hydro?
2. I currently have the pump set to flow 4 times a day for 15 minutes each time. As the plants grow should i run this any more times than 4?
3. How tall should a let these ladies get before switching to 12/12?
4. How long should I let them flower? I was wanting some dank buds but are the pots so small that they should not flower too long because the roots wont be able to spread?
5. Are there any extra chem/fertilizers i should be using?
6. I only am doing 11 plants this grow but the system holds and came with 14 pots. Should i jump up to 14 next grow or will that just make them start fighting for light? Less next time?
