A lil sexing help please??!?

Ok, so this is my fifth grow but my first with regular seeds. Plants are 13 days into flowering stage. I had always grown from clones before, should've gotten fem seeds, I suppose.

My question is this: When have you left a male in "too long?" I found a male today that had formed a little cluster on its top about the size of a peanut. It was removed immediately. Could this males pollen had been "ready" or even viable at this point, which again, is 13 days into flowering stage. Please tell me I didnt just doom myself to a harvest of Middie shit.......

If it hasn't opened the you're good. I'm pretty sure if the pollen can't get out then there can't be any pollination.

i agree with napa23 when they open and you see like lil yellow'ish banana shaped things(soz best i can explain it) then they have released their pollen dude, so should be ok if you have a look at my latest thread there a pic on there of a open pollen sack
