A little help?

So I'm generally new to growing, not much experience at all with the aspects of maximizing quality and yeild. Definitely more knowledgeable with the extraction side of things. Anyways, I have 3 mom plants that were handed down to me around the beginning of May. They were about 2 feet tall when I transferred them outdoor.

Unbeknownst to me I had no idea what revegging was...they were confused(had been on 24hr cycle)started flowering then went in to this horrid state of revegging.

So now I have these moms that I have no idea if they will kick back into flower or what the hell is going to happen. My biggest seemed to hit a stretch and is now over 6 foot and there's clusters of stems where the cola should be. Is that normal or is it just basically shit now?

They'll be fine. Keep lights at least 18/6 until they start throwing normal leaves again. After that point you can throw them right back into flower.
.
Additionally if you keep with it the yield should kick ass over what they would do undisturbed. Read about monstercropping. Read about flowering clones.

Are you saying that these used to be mother plants and now you're growing them out, or are you saying that you are going to be keeping these to be mother plants to take cuttings from?

Flowering is triggered when the light cycle drops below 14 hours. So unless your day is longer than that, they should have never started flowering. Unless, that is, you started flowing them inside and then brought them outside to finish. Revegging takes a while, but it's not that big of a deal. But if you're flipping back and forth, it can cause your plants to become hermies (hermaphrodites), and you don't want that to happen.

Getting them under the sun is going to grow them more like in nature. If you have a sativa-heavy strain, then can grow to 25' tall. So 2' might just be a sign of things to come.

Once flowering, the plants won't produce any more branches. But since your plants are vegging again, those might be from new growth.

Post some pics.

OP, in the future when taking mature plants or clones outdoors from 24/0, you need to gradually ween then down to natural light hours. Do it all at once, and they will early flower for sure.

This is a good tool to plan out when it's safe to go outside {type in your town}

The length of night is what makes plants flower. You can throw shade to make the night longer or make the sun shine for a couple of hours at midnight to make the plants think it's two short nights.

Good luck.
