A Question about Harvesting.

I'm about two weeks from flowering in a T-5 grow. Because there is only light, over the plants, (T5 Sunblaze Fixture) I've been told that my tops will mature faster than the middle and low ends of the plants, and that I should harvest the tops first, and let the rest mature.

So my question is, should I try to trim just the buds off (not preferred by me) or can I snip branches, and let the rest mature?

I'm kinda torn about what to do. Any advice is GREATLY appreciated.

I use a 2' T5 for 2 plants
Once they grow tall enough to stick
42W on Y adapters in back and front.
Then train main cola 90 degrees
Both my plants pretty much maturing
at the same pace all over
I got pics in another post of the setup
Peace

gotcha, those are huge plants for fluoros. they are going to double in size over the first 2 weeks of flowering. do you have the space for that? if not you should think about cloning and doing a sog. would be better for your plants bc the intensity diminishes very quickly... those T5's are what, 110watts? if you sog a bunch of short plants can be bunched in the optimum light intensity rather then 1 or 2 supper tall plants with mostly bad lighting.
