If i had two 24w 1600k lights on a y split does that= 3200k per plant? and if i was to add anouther one would it be 4800k? the lights say warm white but if i have more together can i use them in the veggie state?

no.

the spectrums remains the same, the difference is the lumens output.

if you want to raise the spectrum, use CFL's that say DAYLIGHT on the box....

thank you . i can not get to the store til friday so would it hurt if if put it on my plants to add light they are still just 2-3 weeks old and i need more light i got them 24/7?

no...
get as much light in there as possible.

go to the nearest walmart (or hardware store)

get 3 clamp lights

get 1 4-pack 26 watt daylight CFL's
get 1 4-pack 26 watt SOFT white CFL's
get 2 42 watt Soft White CFL's

go to home depot, get 3 y splitters for the socket...

set it up to where all the daylight bulbs are put on there, with the remaining two sockets holding the 42 watt softwhites...

when it's time to flower, take off all the daylights and replace with the 26 watt softwhites....

you are only going to get them lumens if the lights are real close to the plants becuse cfls do lose power far more than you would think.GET THEM CLOSE

i forgot, this was for 1 or two plants... for more plants you want more light...

also, don't have light bulbs touching each other, and don't let them touch the plant, they WILL burn it...... any lil movement or anything may burst them if they are touching and you'll spill mercury dust all over your babies....
