About my PH and vinegar

Well I'm a first time grower and I'm still trying to set up everything for a successful closet grow. It's been a slow process of buying all the goods, but it's almost time to grow. I hope. My ph was pretty high in my soil (sea-green potting soil), and i've heard vinegar was used to lower it. All I could find was apple cider vinegar so I threw it in. Now my ph is at about 6.8, which is good, but dang, that vinegar reaks! It is so strong in my little stealth trash can grow box. Is apple cider vinegar ok to use? Or should i flush the soil out. Guess i should've asked before i put it in :P. Thanks for the info!

It should not matter.

It would be much better for your to pick up some PH up and PH down to have on hand.

It is cheap, easy to use and does not smell at all.

You can find it at most plant nursery's and any hydro shop, oh... and online of course.

Thanks for the info man. Yeah I would trust the PH up and down more than baking soda and vinegar. But what I'm really wondering is if the apple cider vinegar is gonna kill my germinated seeds when i put them in?

Im not sure on that one.

I would play it safe, go and pick up PH up and down. Use some new soil and plant in that instead of the vinegar soil.

It is not worth the risk of waisting great seeds.
