About to move my plant from a 2.5 gal pot to a 5gallon bucket and im using 6x 26w cfls. my new mix will be with a potting mix with a NPK of 14-11-08 and i was wondering when it starts to flower if i should use super bloom with NPK of 12-55-06. my real questoin is if i use this new mix now and super bloom together will i get a nut burn or should i use 1/4 bloom with 1 gal of water to see what happens.:wall:

Your potting mix has everything you need. If it were me, I wouldn't add anything. I just about burnt my plants to a crisp doing the very thing you suggest -- adding a bloom food to a pre-ferted soil. The soil you describe could carry a full 3-4 month grow by itself.

And, there's good reason to not use bloom foods at all, or at least avoid ones that are really heavy in P like the 12-55-06 you suggest.

And if you don't believe me or Uncle Ben, do yourself the favor of prowling around RIU looking for "Help...!! Nute burn?" threads for a day or two, and you'll see the pattern. Heavy use of bloom foods right after switch to 12/12.
