AC keeps growroom cool and basement hot - no good. need help venting and filtering

Ive got a portable ac mounted in my 10X15 growroom and it kicks out the exhaust into the basement which make it too hot for my vegging plants. Its one of those big square window ACs. Im wondering if theres some sort of square fitting i can buy or make to fit the part of the ac thats outside the grow room so I can vent the exhaust outside. its about 19" X 24". also any tips or methods for filtering the air so neighbors dont catch on. I curently have a layer of charcoal filter over the intake where the normail filter used to be.

i have seen folks create their own sheet metal exhaust for a/c units. If you were to do this I strongly suggest at least 6" ducting. I have not seen a charcoal filter option with duct ports on both sides but this would benefit you here. There are homemade, viable options. I recommend adding a fan here that is made to be adjusted. This will allow you to dial in the exhaust speed to a point that is good for the a/c. I personally intend on doing something like this if my temps ever get out of control. I suggest the fan because by adding a ton of ducting and a filter to the ac exhaust, the ac would struggle if not fail. The fan will not only work to correct this, but a controllable fan could even increase the effectiveness of the unit. mounting the filter shortly after the a/c, then the fan directly after the filter, you will keep all the noise as close to the room as possible. vent the hot air to the other side of the basement next to, or directly out of, a vent to outside.

just build it out of ply wood. build a small room around it. so the air has room to mix and put ozone generator in the room with the ac exhaust. run it for 15min every hour. and the exhaust your box.

I built on time and wrapped out around the backside of a 12,000 btu windows unit. Worked like a charm but I had a 8" vortex on it. Should work tho.
