so all my plants were doing fine outside... but i noticed 2 of them have "blackness" about the branch tips and top of the plants... the tiny leaves (new growth) and stamen (their flowering) on these two plants seems to be turning black(ish)....

i tried neem oil and hydrogen peroxide but it hasn't helped

any thoughts?

yeah, from what i read it looked a little bit like iron deficiency which can happen from too much watering... which i think i might have been doing.. normally it rains a lot and i let that take care of it, but recently its been really dry and i think i was over watering to compensate

I would love to know what this is. I have this condition on several of my plants. Would be great to revive this thread if we had some new info because there are others out there that have this same thing happening to their plants. My plants have done this for the past three years. Dont know if its something Im doing wrong or if its something in the soil. I have done a lot of searching on this subject but no one has a solid answer. I am in the north east. Medium is potting soil and pro-mix. I PH my water around 6.3. I am outdoors. I will post back here if I find any answers.

Hey man I figured this shit out finally!!! It's absolutely a magnesium deficiency!! Check your soil runoff. I apparently didnt use enough dolomite lime in my mix. I watered with 8.5 pH and my runoff was 3.8!!!! Holy fuck balls lol. Ive been foliar feeding with cal mag until I can get the pH adjusted. I hope this helps man because I was thinking it was mold and was spraying everything on my ladies for two months and it didnt seem to help, well now I know why. Id say flush your plants but if your in the same boat as I am it's impossible to flush a 30 gallon container when you are hauling water by 5 gallon gas cans lmao. Definitely check your runoff and start foliar feeding half strength every three days, and after three feedings, if it hasnt rained, be sure to spray them with PhD water to rinse them. Lastly, bring the pH back up SLOWLY, I know you wanna get it under control but slowly. Hit me back and let me know if this helps!!! Good luck brotha

It's a phytoplasma disease, most likely from leafhoppers. Look up potato purple top wilt phytoplasma when you get a chance. I have been dealing with it for 2 years now and have not found a remedy that works except topping the plants in veg to remove the diseased parts.
