So just like the title says, im upgrading this month and i need some advice. Right now i have a 1000 w hps in a 4x4 tent with a 4 foot 6 bulb t5 for veg. I just bought a new 4x8 tent and I need to increase my footprint from my lights. So the question is, should i buy a 6 foot light mover for the 1000 watt light that i already have for 170 dollars brand new(very nice and sturdy model), or should I add a 600 watt hps to the mix(also around 170 brand new with a digital ballast and hps and mh bulbs and cooltube)? Do light movers really work that well? or would the 1000 not be enough light to cover the area? Also if i added the 600 would i need to add more ventilation? I have a 400 cfm hydrofarm fan and a booster fan for my intake. Thanks in advance

first off, if its just a tent, like the kind that the plastic connecting fasteners break alot id say no to the light mover idea.
Second, you can use the 1000 in the 4x8 but i would use two 600s because they cover a 4x4 area and youd have less dark spots on the outsides.
The 400 fan is just about what you need for a 4x8 but if your running both tents off one fan youll need somthing bigger for sure.

I have the light rail 3.5 and love it i have a 5x10 room, and use 5 x 7 or 8 of it, I only run a 600 with the rail. my other 600 is in storage. A light mover is the best thing. even with lots of lights a light mover will help evenly disterbut the light to all the bud sites.
