Adding kief back into the bud

So I have 20g of kief. I don't smoke it because I like the flavor of a good smelling/tasting bud. I have a couple questions.

1. My kief is a dry powder. i've heard of people making what they call "cakes," or "yellow straw." The kief is a little moist, almost gelatinous. They do this by dissolving the trim into a solvent and evaporating the solvent. The left over product is a lot different than the stuff that passes into my kief screen. Since I have dry kief powder I shouldn't have to do anything else to it right? Aside from maybe compressing it into pellets.

2. The most important question. Can I add kief back to the bud? I thought about maybe putting it in a bag with bud and shaking it (shake & bake). My purpose is to enhance the strength of my existing buds. I know a lot of it will fall right off the bud. Has anyone come across a method to incorporate kief back into the bud? I thought maybe misting the bud with a mild sugar water so the kief will stick. I plan to experiment with this to see if it effects the flavor negatively but if someone has come across a method please let me know.

3. Lastly, do people typically buy kief? I only ask because there may be a fear that someone cuts it so it may not have a great market.

So BHO is the most common method for the solvent based hash. It turns out more of a liquid and if you did it well it will get more consistent. For the Kief question, no you don't have to do anything that's mostly trichs so your good. Also people could buy Kief if you had enough but it's almost not worth it unless you have quite a bit. Also shaking onto buds would work ok, it will fall off. I don't suggest wetting the buds if you plan on letting them sit after for periods of time cause they can mold. Best way to get non solvent hash after growing is bubble hash. It's kinda a more refined kief. Anyways good luck bro

Why don't you just add the kief when you pack a bowl?

I press it into little 'pills' and smoke it straight myself.

1) how did you separate it? I use a metal reusable coffee filter but the grow store has a nice looking keif tray.
2) sometimes when I roll a joint I add some. Sometimes when I smoke a bowl I add it right to the bowl.
3) I put a couple of grams in a small cellophane envelope. (has to be cellophane. like on cigs - not "baggie" plastic or it will stick bad). Then put it in your shoe and walk around with it all day. your foot is hot enough to make it into one mass. then i just use it like old school hash. the powder "appears" dry but it will meld together when heated with your foot.

Put it right on top of bowls.

Or buy a set of screens and clean for the pure 99.9% glandheads....a little static tech and you would get the diiaaammmonds bro ...well at least imo that's what I do....shit be full melt more then most bubble
