Advice about my grow room...

Ok so I have a 6 foot long by 5 foot deep and around 7 foot high grow box with a 1000watt light.

I have a Twin Window Fan made by Westpointe which both sides intake the hot air. It is placed at the top of the box. I tried finding the CFM's but no luck and I even called the hotline which they didn't know either. Heres pic...

In addition I have a Holmes relatively powerful oscillating fan blowing the air all around the room.

I still need to find a way to get fresh air in though. I am thinking of buying some ducting and tape it to my window and have it run along the floor and through the bottom of the box. Thing is I cant keep the window open becuase Im in a particularily cold state and winter is fast approaching. Plus I dont want the neighbors to see silver ducting and get curious. Even though the room is below ground and the window is blocked by a bit of shubbery. I am thinking of just opening the window from the hours of 9-2 pm so that the area gets fresh air and then close it back up. I would like to know how to get around this slight problem. Thanks

Or I was thinking that I can use the Twin Window Fan as an exhaust and bring the air in with it while having the window open occasionally.

Then have two sets of ducting run through the top of the box along the floor to my bathroom which has a vent that takes in air.

Decisions....Decisions...

What am I really asking is if I have a window open in my living room and it was to travel through my small living room to the bedroom would that be enough for the fresh air requirement?

If you got a 1kw going with no direct ventilation, it ain't gonna be cold enough for that room unless you live near the arctic circle.

Why don't you put your fans at the top of the room for exhaust and have a passive air intake near the floor, that would give you good top to bottom air flow if they are on the opposite sides of the room.

Well then, would it be that much of a difference if i let the fans intake air while the window is open around 5 hours a day rather than inserting a duct through the top of the growbox and attaching it to the window pane for the same amount of time?

So in other words having the twin fans at the top taking all the air out while inserting ducting towards the bottom for the cold air to go through

duct to the box with the window cracked. get a 4 inch blower, pull the air from the window, don't push it to the box.

run a piece of 4" flex duct from the window to the top of the growbox. If you have some coin, but a 4" centrifugal fan. If not, but a 4" inline fan for $40. Put the fan on top of the grow box with a hole cut in the box for fan. attach the flex duct to the fan. orient the fan so the air is being pulled into the box. buy a 6" inline fan for about $50. cut a hole in the side of the growbox near the floor and put the 6" fan in it. have it pull air out of the growbox. Put those other fans you have in the grow box and blow air onto the plants. make sure it doesn't get too humid in there.

Is it okay if I buy a 6 inch inline duct fan and attach the ducting to it?

Actually I have a Euro reflector.

Is it true that I can just run the ducting from the light outside and that way it will get rid of most of the heat?
