Advice Needed for a 1st time grower !!

My setup Inculdes:

5x5x7 Vivosun grow ten
6Inch Vivosun Inline fan/Carbonfilter
Viparspectra 900w Reflector series
TaoTronics humidifier

So my question is is this Led going to be enough to flower these 4 ladies, or should i pick another Viparspectra 900w Reflector series or would Two 54w Optic 1 Cob 3500k LED's pick up the slack?

Did the manufacture tell you the footprint of the light? It says 900 watts, but what is the actual draw at the plug? What is the spectrum of the light?

That’s a large space and if you want to utilize the room I’d add another form of lighting. With that amount of space and those large pots you might as well grow large plants, funds permitting. Also be careful with that humidifier power cable on the ground.

I'm not sure what you paid for that, but I would look at maybe adding a quantum board or two on each side of that light, with it being in the middle. That's not enough wattage to flower in a 5 x 5. Google hlg quantum boards, as if they're on in your price range.

As for the Quantum boards what would you recommed?, not looking to spend more then $400 CND

I don't run qb's, I suggested them because they would be easy to add to your existing lighting. They are good lights, lots of guys loving them. It might run you another 1-200 than you want to spend.

Maybe two of these, 150 true watts a piece...... My phone went stupid on me, I can't link it for you. Google auto cob, cob shop has two for $249 sale going.

This is honestly the best advice. If this is your first grow it is unlikely (not impossible) that you're going to grow these to their full potential. More light will help, but that light should suffice for 4 plant on your first grow. You could get another light, a board or two, cons, etc. OR save some cash and hang some reflective material and reduce the effective size of your tent. There's aot you can do if you don't want to drop more cash on another light.

In the future, though, most cheap LED stuff isnt what it claims to be. Pre made is expensive, and even DIY can be a bit costly, but it's worth it to some of us.

If I were you, I would grow this out, then I would decide after harvest if I wanted more light. Then I would research DIY solutions and quality pre-made gear. The cheap lights do grow dank, but may LED enthusiasts will tell you that your dollar goes further with quality lights. It's all up to you, and my opinion ain't worth a whole.lot, cuz I suck at growing. I've just been around a bit and have done a couple hundred hours of reading on the topic.

I don't know those lights. I say whatever you can afford, so you can get enough light into the corners. I personally would want to fill in the spots where your other light it's lacking, and definitely at 3500k so you can veg or flower with them.

I would go with 3500K. If you can DIY, you can save a goodly amount of $$ piecing things together yourself. If not, timber, cobshop, cobkits, rapidled, and probably others have stuff pre-made.
