Hi folks. First time poster and first time grower. I've done plenty of gardening before, so I feel pretty confident about that side of things, but I'm a little concerned about my plan. You see, I have a large backyard but no privacy fence, so growing in my own yard is not an option. The wife doesn't want an indoor grow, so that is also out. Behind my property is a rather large (about 10' deep), overgrown ditch with a small stream. Beyond that is the highway. I believe I can hide the plants rather well within the scrub, trees and greenery (it gets very overgrown very quickly), but I'm wondering about the what ifs...as in what if my two little plants are discovered? The area is easily accessible and they often find random grows on public land around here with relatively few people busts. Has anyone had experience with such a situation? I like this location because I can still get the plant water when summer comes along and it *seems* like, if they're discovered, they wouldn't be traceable back to me. Would this supply probable cause for officers to search my home or the homes of my neighbors?
Additionally, I'm located in an especially mild area of the midwest. I would typically take my new (non-marijuana) starts outside when the average temp hits around 70. Should I follow the same idea here? I'm using bagseed (one is very likely Trainwreck; the other is unknown), so I can't supply much strain info. They're fine where they are for a bit, but I'm wondering at what point they should go in the ground outside. Is there some developmental point I should wait to reach, or is it just a matter of weather?
Thanks in advance!
