I'm growing 3 strawberry Kush (fem) from ILGM. Now this Kush is an indica dominant strain of 75% and 25% sativa. it has a very high (predicted) yield of 650 g/ m^2. The tallest this strain can grow is 3-3.5 ft. My concern is the runt of the group. All 3 plant has received equal treatment. For some reason it remains stunted. I decided 1-1.5 weeks ago to raise it higher and center it as much as I could towards my 400 watt MH light during the veg stage. Hoping it would grow in height, it grew in width and became more lush.
Now during this 1-1.5 week in the last couple days of veg, I trained all 3 plants by bending the main stem. Doing that allowed the side branches or internode space to receive more light and grow. The other 2 have grown in height as well and has filled out. But the smallest one has shown little height growth and more lushness in comparison.
Now they are all healthy and I've been feeding them spring or distilled water with a ph of 6.0 and 000 ppm during the last 1-1.5 wks of veg. (Just flushing the soil before I start feeding them floral nutes.) Towards the beginning of the week, I trimmed the lower growth that wasn't receiving enough light and topped all colas. The main one I topped twice on accident with the smallest one. I just turned them into the flower cycle 2 days ago. I'm still training them with bending during the preflower period, so they can hopefully 'hold their own weight'.
I'm confused about it stunted growth compared to the others. My logic is this.
1) it is root bounded? -No because it's too small. Plus I transplanted the bigger ones today and none of them were root bounded except "Big Mama".
2) Nutrient lock or over feeding? No
3) Is it genetically dispositioned to be that tiny? Maybe. Traits do very from generation to generation. Including height variation, bud color, thc %. Etc.
This is my fear. I doubt it will grow in height that much before it starts to flower. But it's intermodal spacing is so cramped due to its slow growth. I'm afraid that whatever bud growth or formation might be clustered together and eventually mold might form. My humidity is at 47-50% average tho.
I tried in the beginning stages of veg to keep it lower but directly underneath the light hoping it would stretch. Now that it's closer it's more bushy. I can't win. Please give me advice!

I'll post a better close up later, she's sleeping.
