ADVICE ON VEGGING MY CLONE 2FT TALL - All input welcome !!!

Heres the Situation.

I wanna start a DWC grow, but due to limitations of space, checking my Airstones and my PPM/PH levels once I start flowering would mean moving my Tubs around every day just to access the back. Thats Impracticable, but I have an idea that would save me the hassle - I just need advice from experienced Veg Heads on how to do it

During Flowering I wanna be able to reach UNDER my Canopy, so I can access my DWC Tub Lid. In my Lid, I'll cut an extra hole and keep it plugged with Foam, so everyday I can reach UNDER my Canopy and remove the plug so I can dip my PPM/PH Digital Pen straight in the water.

Thats the Plan for Flowering, but for it to work I need to VEG my Plants so they end up looking like small 2ft trees, with 1ft of "Trunk" and 1ft of "Leaves and Branches"

Once my Clones have been vegged to 2ft tall, and have the bottom half of growth removed, I can then Flower them close together like a Sea of Green for 2 months and end up will approx 4ft tall Plants at Harvest. Im thinking 4 months total. 2 months Veg and 2 months Flower approx. If I Veg them to have a leafless stem, I'll be able to manage them better when I start Flowering. Thats the Plan Anyway




So, experienced Veg Heads, please give me your input !!!!




At what point should I start Cutting the Bottom Leaves?
Should I cut them during Veg?
Or should I Veg my Clones to 2ft tall first AND THEN cut away the bottom Growth?
What would YOU do if you needed that extra Space under your Plants?

Its pretty straight forward, I would like to strip my Plant of all its lower leaves, so I can access all my plants and their reservoirs in a tight space. I'd just like to know the best way to do it:

- Cut em off all at once? Cut em off bit by bit?
- Cut em all off when the plant is a Young Clone?
- Cut em all off just before I put them in to Flower?
- Could I use the Branches I cut off as Clones?
- Let me hear some Opinions God Damn it !!! LOL

Damn, if this Silence keeps up I might just put the Whole damn Grow on Wheels so I can pull it out and get to the Plants at the Back lol.

I do clean up the bottoms of my plants but i am only on my 3rd grow so i am still learning.

Personally i veg my plants and usually top them around week 3-4 of an 18/6 cycle. Then once i go 12/12 usually at the end of week 4 of veg i allow the stretch to happen within the first 2 weeks of 12/12 then i clean around half the plant from the bottom up. Danthebull has also done this to his grow.

Hey pal. I agree with (jondamon). He's a top lad and a friend who help'd me on here with my grow. And as Jon stated, I would let your plant do there stretch in to flower firstly before you take up the skirts. I did the exact same thing and the plants suffered no ill pain.

And wheels on the pot's is an idea i had but i chose to play tetris with mine. next time will be different........lol
