Advice on yellowing

Hello,

I've successfully grown about 8 plants over the last 5 years so have a general idea what I'm doing..

But I'm noticing this yellowing on my plant and I feel like it's a N issue but I'm concerned with overdoing it. Fresh foxfarm soil planted in early May in Oregon.

Could it really be needing THAT much N?? I've watered it 1 to 2x a week (depending on weather) and have fed at each time with Roots Organics SURGE. I wait until soil is largely dry.

Any help, am I missing something? Is this something other than nitrogen?

It definitely seems to start at the bottom up. I'm not seeing any pests (fungus gnats for instance).

Thanks in advance!

too much nute causing lock out everywhere else

add 25% perlite next pot up no nutes for 3 weeks or until you see upside

above dilute the FFOF further if you intend to add your own nutes later in veg or flower

FFOF is a hot soil that can be re used many times with little amending

good luck

ps fungas gnats are no biggy but a nightmare(for no reason ) to any noob

Thanks for the recs! I noticed some yellowing early on so started the nutes and it seemed to make a difference..

Should I do a flush specifically right now?

a flush won't do much IMO: as these are still in veg you can be still be very tough

I'd extract..soak rootball in air temp ph'ed water

washing the roots and repot in clean FFOF and 50% perlite adding more to add air

no nutes for 3 weeks checking daily do at days end

so they recover in the dark to re start in the morning

good luck

Thanks again.. I would clarify that I did amend the FF with perlite and volcanic pumice and there's a good layer of big river rock in the bottom of the pot..

Does yellow in the veins match up with nutrient lockup? New growth is still happening and looks good.
