Hi, I am completely new to this and after reading masses of information I am getting a little over cautious. I started my first grow from seed 5 weeks back now and not sure if my plant is doing well or not. It seems very busy and not the size I was expecting, but then I'm not sure!!! It's northern light auto, I have 4 26w cool cfl and 6 23w warm. After germ I planted straight to a 10 litre tub with a 30 percent perlite mix with seedling compost with John innes pre mixed. The temp is between 25 + 30! Just watering with filtered water and no notes. The leaves look healthy and stems strong. I just need some to look at the pic and tell me if it's looking good or am I doing anything wrong. Thank you in advance.

Your first feeds do at 1/4 the amount listed on the bottle or bag. No more than 1/4 strength. Follow that with a couple of watering. Use micros throughout the grow.

Your young lady has an awesome long journey ahead of her and you have certainly given her a very good start to that journey!!!

Looks healthy, but small for 5 weeks. You may have a long journey ahead of you. I veg with t5, and at week 5 I'm typically at 12" to 14". Keep doing what your doing and squeeze all the light you can around them. Start lightly on the nutes, but you should start now. Good luck.

Whats your take on this? I got it from a local garden centre and thought it might be worth a try but would like some advice first! Sorry for the bother. Thanks in advance

These are mine at 3 1/2 weeks the 2 in middle to the right were late developers from seed there only a week and three quarters. Old just to give you an aspect of size difference I use 600 watt air cool mh bulb in composted soil blend I topped these twice each one should give min 6 top colas some will give eight yours look great but you need more lumens of light or your not going to like bud size and weight at the end this coming from experience to me I worry more about lumens than I do wattage hope this helps

Looking good. Best thing to remember with watering is that weed can handle droughts fine, but not floods. So don't water too much, wait till the top inch is dry as. Good choice holding off the nutes as your soil will already have nutes in it.

Next time pot up your seedlings. 10l is way to big for a seedling.

Check out the Mandela seeds website. They have some really good info on growing that cuts out alot of bullshit.

Cheers guys, finally getting some correct info! There's so much on it I think you can read far to much and get very confused! She is really starting to fill out now, there's new growth everywhere I'm flooding fan leaves out of the way so the under canopy ones can get light. I now have 8 warm and 4 cool light in a 500 wide by 900 deep space. My height is adjustable up to 1500. I think I will leave the nutes for this one and see what presents she brings!!!! Then maybe for my next 2 which are just surfacing I will do smaller pots and nutes. Thanks again.
