Hey everybody. I just started my first seed. Everything is going well so far, i purchased Dr. Earths home grown premium soil in a purple bag for 15 bucks at my local hardware store . The guy there suggested it. Seedling sprouted and has been growing for 3 days. I also picked up some Dr. Earth liquid fertilizers. The NPK ratio for the flowering fert is: 2-7-2 and the veg one is : 7-2-2 . I did my research after taking it home and these numbers look unusual. Any suggestions/ imput/ advice , etc?
Thanks,
Jay :bigjoint:
P.S. the soil mix ingrediants are: bat guano, worm castings, kelp meal & concentrated seaweed extract. Aloe vera & yucca extract. With some promoisture hydrate idk what that shit is lol. There is also probiotic soil microbes and mycorrhizae . I have no idea what most of that shit is. Is it good stuff??? Let me kno!

It seems you got all the nutrients for a great grow. As for the liquid fertilizers, those should do work fine.

Have fun!

ur potting soil is good for 3-4 wks and can get thru veg if u have the fan, perlite and good soil blend. read the stickies cuz all the info u need is their

Its not about npk. Its about a balance and bennies and enzymes. In the past I have used Dr earth. Imo their soil is horrible. The dry fertz kelp meal.and the tomato & vegetable & herb mix is good in veg and flower. That has no guano / manure and no blood meal. It does have fish bone meal though. I like that it doesn't have guano and blood meal. Its full of bennies. Personally I don't like bottle nutes. Most have so much gnarly chems in them that are not even on the label. Even bottled nutes that are labeled organic have them too. I can t speak on the Dr. Earth bottled nutes. The owner does pride himself in being organic and all about bacteria and fungi. Most especially liquid kelps have quite a bit of heavy metals in them.

Aloe vera is awesome though
