this is my first try at the ebb grow system,is it necessary to aerate the bottom of every bucket?i have herd a lot of people complaining of root rot...
aerateing ebb grow buckets??

No its not.
The better option is to stick something under the buckets with the plants in them to allow them to drain completely to the control bucket. you only need an inch or two.
